Owen Lee Hargreaves
“When I see this boy with the ball my heart opens up,” said Franz Beckenbauer going into raptures over Owen Hargreaves. By now Owen is an established player in international football who at 26 has already achieved remarkable successes. Together with the FC Bayern Owen won four German Championships, the DFB-Cup three times, the League Cup once, the Champions League and the World Club title. He played for England at the World Cup 2002 in Japan and South Korea, at the WC 2006 in Germany and at the European Championship 2004 in Portugal. In the summer of 2007 Owen transferred from FC Bayern to the current English Champion Manchester United.
